Cuisine Resources NZ Ltd was originally founded in 1989 by Tony and Robyn Laus under the name "Natures Food Ingredients Ltd". We are located in Pukekohe, New Zealand – the heart of New Zealand's world renowned vegetable growing region.
In 2007 the company was purchased by Vika B.V; a family owned food ingredient company in the Netherlands. In 2011 the group set up a strong management structure to support the growth of the business. We have invested extensively in our number one asset – our people to ensure quality and integrity are maintained and support our strategy for growth and continuity of care in the market.
The product range produced by Cuisine Resources NZ Ltd is mostly shipped around the world primarily to Europe, Australia, Japan, and the USA.
At present there are between 25 and 30 staff employed by Cuisine Resources NZ Ltd. This will increase to approximately 40 over the next three years as the business grows to meet the needs of the global market. We have food technologists, chef, biochemist, microbiologist, engineers on the staff as well as several office staff and a large number of highly skilled operational and production staff.
The direction of the company is to focus on using natural ingredients and produce niche products for the top end cuisine and health markets. We specialize in making customer products for customers specific applications, and continue developing our processes to produce safe shelf stable products.
